K-dramas: From Jewel In The Palace to Innocent Man until Reply 1994...

I'm a lazy person and I really love sleeping and watching television. When I was in elementary, Korean dramas like Full House started to spread in the Philippines

starring Rain and Song Hye Kyo (2004)

My mom and brother are a huge fan of them. I also watch them but I have an early class so I can't stand being awake until 11 pm.
But I started giving up my sleep for my first Korean drama during grade 6. It was Jewel In the Palace (JITP).

Dae Jang Geum starring Lee Young-Ae

I love that drama. So far, still the best for me.
I always talk about it with my homeroom teacher and we always spazz as to what happened and what will happen next. I love the twist and turns of it. How she got to be a nurse and her being involved with the King and all. It was one of the most successful Korean dramas EVER.

After JITP I was into pretty much everything that tv networks here are televising.

I even watched some drama before it was aired here. like:
Cinderella Sister (God, I love this drama! especially when the father died and Moon Geun-young cried her heart out.)

Dream High (the reason why there is Bae Suzy and Kim Soo-hyun)

Innocent Man (I love ChaeKi couple so freaking much!)

But because of school I also have many unfinished dramas like
Arang and the Magistrate

But after getting addicted to KPOP, I pretty much lay-low with K-dramas.

Nowadays, I'm into k-dramas again and I really love REPLY 1994. :)

This drama is better than 1997. I love Eunji and In-Guk but the characters in this drama are really hilarious! (not that the characters in 1997 are not) Even though some casts are not pleasing to the eyes, the show will really hook you in. Plus the viewers cannot really tell who's the father ( I think they've mastered that one).

I read somewhere that people are criticizing Go Ara's acting but I think she's great especially for Na Jung's role. And for the first time, Yoo Yeon-seok is not the bad guy (maybe not yet) in the show.

I am really torn between Trash and Chilbong. I kinda want them both to be Na-jung's husband :)

One of the super great things about this is that Baro of B1A4 is in this. Other super great things is that there are many idols who are doing cameo like Nine Muses Kyungri, Minha and Erin. Also Dalshabet's Woohee.

I would love to see T-ara do a cameo since they fit the 70's 80's style. :D and I also miss Jiyeon's acting.

So far, the ratings are good and many people think that it will beat the record of 1997. I think so too. :) Korea should make more dramas or series that are similar to these. I don't like the super cliche ones like The Heirs, where they don't even look like high school students anymore.

All in all, I still love K-dramas and I am currently watching 4. But since Secret ended already I am now watching 3, namely Reply 1994, Marry Him If You Dare, and Heirs (because of my younger sister and mom).

Bench is the Best!

We've been waiting for this since 2PM held their concert here last March 2. It will finally happen! WAAAH! I really hope the venue is just in Trinoma or SM North or maybe Sky Dome.

No SS5 MANILA for me

When it was first announce I told myself that I ought to go. But my thriftiness overcome and since I do not like them that much... I'm not going :(

But last night, Globe was giving away free ticket (2 SVIP for every winner). Fans have to tweet how much they love SuJu and since i'm not really a fan my mind was not working and i was out of time.

I wasn't really anticipating anything but there was that little shine of light inside my heart. But it all turned to darkness once the name of the winner was announced. I'm not really a fan of SuJu but c'mon they are SUPER JUNIOR.

SuJU live I want to see this in FLESH! They are known for being hilarious on and off stage so what more in their own concert... >> Alone SuJu version THIS!

Now i really want to go but I don't have money. The Gen Ad is 2 freaking thousand pesos. :(

Can someone lend me any money? PLEASE! :D I want to see Donghae and hear Kyuhyun sing!

So, I woke up at 8:30 in the morning and the first thing that came to my mind was Bohyung's song. It will be released at 11:00 am in our country (because in Korea it's 12:00 pm). I opened the computer at 9 am then opened a tab for twitter and another for youtube. I opened B2M's account in both tabs then made a playlist containing just the mv teaser. I waited for 2 hours. While waiting I ate my breakfast, wash the dishes and fix my bed. Then the time came, 11 am is here but the video was not.

I checked my timeline and some Korean fans were already spazzing about the song and the video. :(

After an hour of agony and waiting, B2M posted it.

They were an hour late. :| But it was fine because they gave a chance like this to Bohyung who is very shy with many things. I hope she'll perform this live even just ONCE!

Her song ranked kinda high in the charts considering Spica's not that popular. Lee Hyori composed and arrange this song. i'm so thankful to her for giving this kind of opportunity to Ms. Bbo and i hope other members of Spica will each have a digital single :)

my First Blog-post EVAAR!

I've always wanted to make a blog but i'm too lazy to do it... Now i have nothing to do and i'm bored in our house... I did this. ^_^
